    Fernando Lozano is a labor economist and Professor of Economics at Pomona. His research focuses primarily on domestic immigration issues. He won the College’s Wig Distinguished Professor award in 2008 and chaired the College’s Faculty Executive Committee during the 2013-2014 school year.

    Lozano, who joined the faculty in 2005, is a member of the American Economic Association’s Committee in the Status of Minority Groups in the Economics Profession. He's also a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany.
